Bjorn Wijnblad (1918-2006) from Copenhagen, Denmark
After studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, in 1946 he took up the role of ceramic designer at Nymolle.
He then established his own studio and began working on a wide range of projects, from ceramics, glass and textiles to theatre, stage art and costume design.
He was active in a variety of fields up to now.
His work is also popular overseas, and he has undertaken many international projects in countries such as Japan, America, Germany, and Persia.
