Are you aware of the changes of the times?
1900s
Founded in Denmark by Andreas
Furniture manufacturer Andreas Tuck.
The company mainly produced furniture designed by Fritz Henningsen.
Around 1950, Andreas began to notice a change in the world's thinking.
The change is the very concept that Wegner advocated.
"Consumers choose based on design and quality,
Reasonably priced furniture
Andreas felt his concept expanding.
He became a member of Salesco, a network that sells Wegner furniture across multiple manufacturers.
Although this method was rare at the time, they decided to be one of the first to adopt it.
Focus on your strengths
As a member of Salesco, I was put in charge of manufacturing tables, my specialty.
The representative round table "AT8" is still
Designed and manufactured in 1954, this piece of furniture has become popular outside of Denmark.
"We are specialized in Scandinavian designer furniture.
I want to reach as many people as possible.”
Values that the times demand, rather than our own pride
The manufacturers that responded with all their might won the times.
The decline was imminent
As a part of Saresco, Andreas has produced many masterpieces that are still popular today as vintage furniture, including not only the AT8, but also the AT310, AT312, AT10 and AT40.
However, when Saresco was dissolved in 1968, its relationship with Wegner was also severed.
The encounter with Hans J. Wegner marked the heyday of Andreas.
At the same time,
After breaking up with him, she went into a rapid decline.

Past failures become present value
After that, the company tried to survive in various ways, but was unsuccessful and closed down in 1972.
The AT8 round table is currently manufactured by Cars Hansen.
However, the combination of teak top and oak legs that was used at that time was produced by Andreas and will no longer be produced in the future.
The closure has made the vintage furniture even more valuable.
Past failures will continue to attract attention as a rare value in the modern world.
